This project involved the design of a two storey wraparound extension as well as a two storey front extension and loft conversion. At ground level, the existing single storey rear extension and conservatory needed to be demolished to accommodate the new design. The renovations to the ground floor allowed for the creation of a snug at the front of the house and an open plan kitchen / dining / family area to the rear. The use of Velux rooflights and bifolding doors leading out onto the back garden provided the new space with ample light. To the front of the property the existing garage structure was removed to make way for the formation of a striking double fronted extension. Meanwhile on the first floor the wraparound extension allowed for the creation of a 4 bedroomed home with two ensuites and a separate main bathroom. Lastly, the loft conversion enabled the addition of a fifth bedroom / cinema / games room. Externally, the kerb appeal of the property is instantly elevated by the use of a half brick / half render facade and contemporary glazed elements.
